George West Gets Principal To Replace Holt

2013 Coaching Change: George West Longhorns
Old Head Coach: Tim Holt -- Leaving for 2A Mathis after leading the Longhorns on two seperate stints to a 81-26-2 record. He was also head coach at 4A Gregory-Portland from 1998-2000 going 16-15-0. He has an all-time coaching record of 168-105-5 which ranks him in the Top 175 in all-time coaching wins.
New Head Coach: Jay Newberry -- Was the Longhorns principal. His other head coaching positions have been at 1A Falls City from 1989-1995 going 34-36-1 and with the Longhorns from 1998-2000 going 16-16-0.
Team News: The Longhorns have lost only 1 district contest during the past 5 years.
