2013 Coaching Change: Howe Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Joe Watson -- Leaving after leading the Bulldogs to a 4-16 record over the past 2 seasons. Before taking over as head coach he was the Bulldogs defensive coordinator. He has been a head coach at Dawson going 4-6 in 2001 and at Blue Ridge going 6-14 from 2006-2007. He has also worked as an assistant at Blue Ridge, Whitewright, Celeste, Howe and Tom Bean.
New Head Coach: Zach Hudson — From 1A Weimar where he led the Wildcats for the last 2 seasons to a 14-10 record. He has also been an assistant or coordinator at Weimar, La Grange and Garland Lakeview Centennial. He will be the 25th all-time Bulldog coach.
Team News: The Bulldogs have had 1 winning season (9-2 in 2010) over the past 12 years.
