2013 Coaching Change: Elysian Fields Yellow Jackets

Old Head Coach: Eric King -- Leaving to be an assistant coach at 4A Willis. Resigned after leading the Yellow Jackets to a 23-13 record over the past 2 seasons. This was his first head coaching position. Before taking over as head coach, he was the Yellow Jackets defensive coordinator. He has also been an assistant at Jefferson, Lewisville and Coppell.

New Head Coach: Scott Ford -- From 3A Hidalgo where he led the Pirates to a 7-4 record during his 1 season there. He has also been a head coach at 4A Nacogdoches going 4-16 over 2 seasons, 5A Los Fresnos where he went 65-19 in 7 years and 1 year at 4A Joshua going 4-6. Coach Ford has also been an assistant coach at Cleburne, Killeen Ellison and Leander.

Team News: Coach King's teams went 4-6 in 2010, 8-3 in 2011 and then 11-4 last year.
