2013 Coaching Change: Brownsville Lopez Lobos
Old Head Coach: Mike Ramirez — Leaving for 5A Carrollton Turner. He led the Lobos to a 7-13 record over the past 2 seasons. Before that he was the defensive coordinator for the Lobos the 2 years. His only other head coaching job was at 2A Kenedy in 2008 where he took the Lions to an 0-9 season. He was also an assistant at Harlingen South.
New Head Coach: Jason Starkey -- Was the Lobos offensive coordinator for the past two years. He has also been an assistant at Brownsville Pace.
Team News: The Lobos are on a 10 year losing streak.
