2013 Coaching Change: Hardin-Jefferson Hawks
Old Head Coach: David Martel -- Leaving for 5A Alief Hastings. He led the Hawks to a 25-54 record over the past 8 seasons. Before going to Hardin-Jefferson he was the defensive coordinator at Alief Taylor from 2002-2004. Before that he was an assistant coach at Alief Elsik for eight seasons.
New Head Coach: Dwayne DuBois -- Was the offensive coordinator for the Vidor Pirates for the past eight years.
Team News: The Hawks have had 9 consecutive losing seasons going 30-60.
