2013 Coaching Change: Weimar Wildcats
Old Head Coach: Zach Hudson — Leaving for 2A Howe. He led the Wildcats for the last 2 seasons to a 14-10 record. He has also been an assistant or coordinator at Weimar, La Grange and Garland Lakeview Centennial.
New Head Coach: David Husmann -- Was an assistant with the Wildcats. He has also been a head coach at Schulenburg (1985-1997 going 139-31-1) and Gladewater (1998-2005 going 49-41-0). He has also been the offensive coordinator at Victoria Memorial and assistant coach at Pearland, Gonzales and Hallettsville. He led his Schulenburg teams to 3 state finals and 2 state championships. Played football and baseball at the University of Houston. He has an all-time coaching record of 188-72-1 which ranks him in the Top 250 in all-time coaching wins.
Team News: Last years Wildcat team won the District title for the first time in 30 years.
