2013 Coaching Change: Longview Spring Hill Panthers
Old Head Coach: Bobby Chadwick — Leaving to be the Athletic Director at East Texas Charter School. He led the Panthers for 1 season to a 3-7 record. Before taking over the Panthers he was head coach at 2A Ore City where he led the Rebels over the past 4 years to an overall 20-21 record
New Head Coach: Mark Sartain -- Was an assistant Gilmer Union Grove. He has been a head coach at Cross Roads, Eustace (1989-1990 going 6-14) and White Oak (1995-2002 going 43-41). He has also been a head coach at the college level with East Texas Baptist where he led the Tigers to a 26-34 record in six seasons. Before that, Sartain was head coach at Trinity Valley Community College for four seasons,
Team News: The Panthers are on a 5 year losing streak going 15-34.
