Mike Says: The Hornets got back to the playoff for the first time in 6 years last year. It may be difficult to get back though this year. They will go 5-5 or 6-4 in the regular season and fight it out for that fourth playoff spot.

Chris Says: Azle's loss in the opening round of the playoffs was a heart-breaker for the Hornets. It was one of only a few close games last year. Coach Dorris' squad either got rolled or walked away with an easy win in most games. This year, they will be forced to scrap hard against teams that they rolled last season and as the top teams in District 5-4A look just as strong, Azle will likely not surprise any of them. A good season for the Hornets would be 5-5 and 1 playoff game.
