Mike Says: The Cubs had another great season last year but once again they fell early in the playoffs. This years team will feature a strong defense especially in the secondary. They do not have a very tough schedule so look for them to win another district title and go 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season. This year looks like only 1 or 2 rounds again though in the playoffs.

Chris Says: I think Brenham has a shot to start their climb back to dominance. Sure, they will need some players to stand up and surprise us, but isn't that was the Cubs do? Sure, they roll through their district pretty easy but every half dozen years or so they have a player that just comes from nowhere to shine. It is time. I wish their team was a bit more tested during the regular season but expect them to get to the second round this season at least.
