Mike Says:The Cougars lost a lot to graduation. This years team will depend on a tough defense. The have great games against North Shore and Katy on the schedule. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season and come in 2nd to Katy in the district. After that they should go 1 or 2 rounds in the playoffs.

Chris Says: It seems like just yesterday Cinco Ranch was the "new kid on the block" in Katy and since that time, these Cougars have grown into a very strong team. This team brings a lot of lettermen back but not a lot of starters. The real question is going to be QB, Luke Klingler. Will his pro bloodlines translate to on-field success? Most likely. The secret to another great Cinco Ranch season will be the linemen. If the new players can step up and provide protection for Klinger and pressure on the opposition offense, we are talking about a team that could challenge for the district crown and go three rounds deep in postseason. In lieu of that, they will come in 2nd in District 19-5A and last to two rounds of playoffs.
