- Mike Says: Wow...what a team the Eagles have coming back this season. They return 19 all-district position players. They return the district MVP, the district offensive MVP, the district co-defensive MVP's and the states best kicker. This could be their year. They lost 2 close state championship games in 2005 and 2011. I going to say the 3rd time is the charm. The Argyle Eagles will be the Class 3A Division I Champions.
- Chris Says: Argyle brings back a truckload of experience including a host of all-district and all-state players. In addition, Coach Todd Rogers' team made it to Regionals last season knocking off some solid opponents. It is a bold prediction, especially in a super tough Class 3A, but this Argyle squad looks to have what it takes to make it to the championship game.
