Mike Says: The Bearcats outscored their opponents by over 32 ppg on their way to another great season last year. Lots of people remember Aledo having superstar Jonathan Gray and thought that was just a run. Coach Buchanan has had this program winning long before Gray came along and they look to keep on winning in the future. This years team brings back 11 all-district players and in joined by an undefeated JV team. They will feature lots of quickness and team leadership. Their schedule will feature several games of the week against Stephenville and Dallas Highland Park. Look for them to go 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season and could very well be the Division II favorite this year.

Chris Says: Aledo is set for another good year as their returning starters have a lot of talent as well as experience. They will roll through the district after being tested early in pre-district. Those early tests will be needed as they head into a tough playoff run. Expect the Bearcats to win the Region I title and go up against a stacked Whitehouse team.
