- Mike Says: The Rangers bounced back last year with an Area round run. The do not have a lot of lettermen coming back this year but they will have superstar RB Stedman Mayberry. He will run behind a new offensive line so look for to get 5 or 6 wins in the regular season and have a chance at that 4th playoff spot. This is a very tough district to be in.
- Chris Says: Cedar Park Vista Ridge is going to have a rough season. They graduated a bunch of players and are in one of the toughest districts in Central Texas. Expect the Rangers to fight hard for that last playoff spot, as Coach Rodney Vincent continues to work on building this into a reliable program year in and year out. If they do make the playoffs, I don't expect a long run.
