Mike Says: Both of these schools represented Texas last week when they went up against the best from Oklahoma. Even though Trinity lost, they still made a good showing. This match-up looks to be a great one but I do not think it will be a close one. DeSoto is playing some great football. Their offense led by QB Desmon White and the defense led by DB Nick Orr will make things difficult on the Trojans. The EAGLES win it 34-21!!

Chris Says: Euless Trinity has another good team and will turn in a really good season. We are not however, talking about a championship team. They will win some games against good teams, but not against great teams. DeSoto too is a really good team, but falls just short of that "great" label. This game is a precursor to the Region I championship we predict between Euless and DeSoto. We predicted that DeSoto will win when they meetup in the postseason. I was expecting DeSoto to take longer in the season to peak, but it appears they are in excellent shape already. The EAGLES win 35-27!!

LSG Intern Zach Says: Lots of future DI talent in this game. DB Nick Orr and DL Bryce English lead one tough defense for the Eagles, while Desmon White is a nightmare of a dual-threat on offense. For the Trojans, does any team have better talent manning either side of the LOS? They have 11 all-district guys manning the line of scrimmage, and none of them are to be trifled with. This is a game that will come down to explosive plays, and the Eagles are better at getting those with White. Eagles 28-21.
