Elgin WildcatsMike Says: Georgetown won big last year on their way to the championship game behind a high powered offense. This year Elgins offense is putting up the big numbers behind the brother tandom of Te'Rel and Da'trean Simmons. They have combined for 795 yards rushing in 3 games. The Eagle defense will need to have a big game. Their stars are DB Jordan Haas (31 tackles) and Jace LaCaille (29 tackles). The big question of the night. Can the Eagle defense stop that Wildcat rushing attack. I say no...the WILDCATS win it 34-17!!

Elgin WildcatsChris Says: Georgetown had a great season last year, but lost a ton of talent to graduation.  Elgin on the other hand seems to be a team on the rise.  BOTH teams are 3-0 against teams with a combined record of 3-6.  BOTH teams are having no problems when playing these middle of the road teams.  Neither team has been really tested.  BOTH will be tested this week. In the end, I think that Elgin is a bit deeper.  The WILDCATS win 21-17!!

Elgin WildcatsLSG Intern Zach Says: We like Elgin to make the 4A semis and it’s easy to see why. Chance Waz leads a defense that has given up only 20 points all season, and his four forced turnovers last week was one of the best defensive shows of the year. The Eagles have a defensive star of their own in Jace Lacaille, who is a lock every week to rack up double-digit tackles. RB Da’Trean Simmons will be the difference in a low-scoring affair. Wildcats 17-14.

Georgetown EaglesLSG Intern William Says: Elgin has started hot this year winning every game by 21 points or more, however Georgetown has the returning 17-4A defensive player of the year LB Jace LaCaille and have had a solid running game so far. Elgin has been good but it’ll be hard to pick against this running game to keep Elgin’s offense off the field and this defense, led by LaCaille, to turn down the heat. Eagles win 28-17
