Texas high school footballMike Says: Cameron Yoe is the defending state champion taking on Wall who is making their first championship game showing. We picked Cameron (Pre-Season #1) to win it all in our pre-season picks while we had Wall (Pre-Season #10) in the Semifinals. Wall has been taking care of business in the playoffs beating their opponents by a combined score of 190-77. Yoe is led by superstars LB Somari Wright (14.7 tackles per game and QB Jason Kopriva (2897 yards and 46 TDs passing). Wall will give them a good game but Yoe is battle tested and has won some close ones on the way. The YOEMEN win their third overall and 2nd consecutive state championship 28-14!!

Texas high school footballChris Says: Cameron Yoe is a team I have liked for a long time.  Coach Rhoades is one of the good guys and that community shows a lot of support for the team.  This is another team we had as a preseason champion and here they are with one game remaining.  Wall didn't exactly come out of nowhere, we did have them as a top 10 team, but I for one was surprised with their decisive win over New Boston.  The Hawks though have had the easier road to the title game - that ends this week.  YOEMEN repeat as champs 35-14!!

Texas high school footballLSG Intern William Says: Cameron Yoe looks to defend its state title against a Wall team that has yet to lose a game. Both teams have been dominant all season long, the only trip up for Yoe was their 7 point loss to Lago Vista. Wall averages just under 50 points a game and that high powered offense may be what keeps Yoe away from their back-to-back state titles. Wall wins 42-38.

Texas high school footballLSG Fan Poll Says: The fan voting was very light in this game and very one-sided.  It could be because Cameron Yoe is the defending state champion and not a lot of people think this game will be much of a contest, or it could just be because people were more focused on the other title games.   Cameron Yoe (67%) took the majority of the votes over Wall (33%).  The YOEMEN win the title -  the fans have spoken!

Texas high school footballLSG Fan Joel herrera Says:  I know you believe Cameron Yoe will win. Yet not one analyst has yet to see Wall and see what their Offense and Defense can do. This is a sport about the best team and Wall is better on both sides. Lots of people will find that out on Thursday. Wall 42 Cameron Yoe 28
