LSG Top Teams Of The Decade for 2014

After heated debate, Lone Star Gridiron (LSG) has once again come up with the definitive ranking of the top teams over the last decade (2004-2013). In order to be considered a team has to have played (win or loss) in a championship game during that time frame.

Our team of experts weighed everything from their regular season and playoff records to how many times they reached each level of the playoffs.  This year, our premium subscribers also were allowed to weigh in for the final tally!

We had a repeat winner this year as Katy once again took the top spot. They were also #1 last year and were #2 in 2011 and 2010. This is your Texas High School Football Team of the Decade Ranking for 2014:

The teams that moved up the most from last year to this year was Cameron Yoe (Up 36 spots), Brenham (Up 23), Graham (Up 22) and Argyle (Up 20). The teams that dropped the most were Gainesville (Down 36 spots), Windthorst (Down 23) and La Marque (Down 19).
