Updated: October 29, 2008
The unbeaten Alice Coyotes (8-0) are starting to get attention around the state including here at Lone Star Gridiron. The Coyotes are sitting at #18 in the 4A rankings now after starting the season at #72.
After starting off with big wins against Corpus Christi Ray, Scotts Valley, CA and Mission Memorial, it was the win at Corpus Christi Calallen that made everyone start paying attention. All eight of their wins have been against teams with winning or .500 records. Their last two games of the season are against teams with a 1-15 combined record so a perfect regular season is in sight. There last 10-0 season was 1985.
