Two Young QB’s Are Throwing Their Way Into History

There are two young QBs that pose a threat to break the Single-Season Passing TD record.   Denton Ryan’s Scotty Young and Muleshoe’s Wes Wood are both sitting at 48 TD passes with 1 week to go in the regular season and the playoffs coming up.

Both Muleshoe and Denton Ryan will be in the playoffs so it will depend on how far they go as to whether the record will be broken.   Young and Wood have both played 9 games this year
and Graham Harrell hold the record when he threw for 67 TDs in 2003 which took him 15 games.  Young is also just a Junior.

Young is 198-304 3,146 yrds  48 TD's and only 7 INTs

Wood is 180-274 3,081 yrds 48 TD's and only 6 INTs
