Texas History To Include High School Football

A special Texas High School Football exhibit will be added in the fall of 2010 to the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.  Emerald Bay's Joe Lee Smith, will be assisting with the exhibit and will helping plan it all out.

Smith was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame for his contributions to the sport in 2007.  After more than 50 years, Smith has a database on all the 1300 plus 11-man public high schools in Texas. He has every score and record of all the teams.

The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is located in downtown Austin, Texas.  It tells the “Story of Texas” with three floors of interactive exhibits, the special effects show, The Star of Destiny, in the Texas Spirit Theater, and Austin's only IMAX Theatre.

Lone Star Gridiron will be looking forward to the new addition.
