Port Neches-Groves hires Permian OC, Faircloth

Port Neches-Groves ISD attracted a lot of big talent when they announced they were looking for a new head coach. Despite names like Phil Danaher (Corpus Christi Calallen head coach and #3 on the all-time wins list with 396 victories), Jerry Vance (who took Liberty Hill to state titles in 2006 and 2007), and and a host of others, it was Odessa Permian's Offensive Coordinator, Brandon Faircloth that walked away with the job.

Faircloth played his football at Brownwood, coached at Austin Westlake, Highland Park, and played an instrumental part in returning the mojo to dominance at Odessa Permian. He joins a PN-G program that has three state titles under their belt in six state title appearances, and has long been a standout in the tradition-rich Golden Triangle area.
