Cuero 7-on-7 tournament field set

The field is set for the June 20th 7-on-7 State Qualifying Tournament in Cuero, Texas.  The eight-team field will be made up of five District 28-3A teams (Cuero, Yoakum, Edna, Goliad, Palacios.

Rice Consolidated, Giddings and Lago Vista will round out the field.   The top two squads will qualify to advance on to the 7-on-7 state tournament that is scheduled for July 9-10 on the campus of Texas A&M in College Station.

With so many district rivals involved, this one is expected to be a hotly-contested tournament.
