Notes:
Galena Park North Shore will once again be one one of the top teams in the state. They enter the season with the state record of 78 consecutive regular season wins and will once again open the season against the defending Division II State Champions Katy. This time at Katy. They also will have one of the most anticipated games of the 2009 season when they meet up with Southlake Carroll at Corsicana. For more information about the game go to: http://www.lonestargridiron.com/2009/03/26/corsicana-will-host-big-game The Mustangs will be a very tough team to knock off with all their talent on both sides of the ball. They get a big LSG salute for once again scheduling the best the state has to offer. Even when the record was on the line in 2008, they scheduled a game at Lufkin when they could have easily gone out and scheduled a team that would have been easier to defeat.
