Notes:
La vernia will make it 13 consecutive playoff appearances in 2009. They will cruise through 27-3A to win the district title behind QB Grubb and the Bears big offensive line. Once in the playoffs though, an area or reginal finish will be about it. A great game to go see will be when they play Cuero. The Bears won 21-6 last year. Since they play such a tough pre-district schedule look for them to finish around 7-3.
