Notes:
Lexington missed the playoffs last year for the first time in six years. In 2009, they will be bringing back 15 starters and 26 lettermen which will put them into a position to battle for that 3rd playoff spot in district 25-2A. RB/LB clinton Hutson is a leader on both sides of the ball and will be counted on to lead the Eagles to the playoffs. Expect a 6-4 season and if things go well a 7-3 record with 2 rounds into the playoffs being the max. Coach Holcomb would love to get back to the glory years of 2004-2006 where they went 36-8. Interesting enough, the Eagles were 21-21 in his first 4 years, 36-8 his next 3 years and now 11-9 for the last 2 years. Maybe this will be the year they turn things around.
