Alief Hastings Gets QB
-
Updated: August 20, 2009
One of the top quarterbacks in the state has transferred to Alief Hastings. Sam Carter who during the summer had transferred to Katy Morton Ranch has now transferred to Alief Hastings.
Carter's parents are divorced and he moved in with his mom in the Alief district from his fathers home in the Morton Ranch district. This all happened after 3 Morton Ranch coaches were put on administrative leave for allegations concerning misuse of funds, student records and athlete eligibility.
The 6'1" QB completed 131 of his 287 passes last year for 1759 yards and 19 TDs and rushed for 1021 yards and 9 TDs while at Houston Sharpstown. He is being recruited by Oklahoma State, Houston, TCU and SMU.
