Eldorado Removes Head Coach After 7 Games

The Eldorado High School head football coach Alan Cherry has been reassigned. He was removed from his position after leading the Eagles to a 3-4 record, 1-2 in District 29-1A.

This was Cherry's first season with Eldorado coming over from 5A Harlingen South. Cherry has 178 career victories. His career includes stints at Hart, Crane, Bay City and Harlingen. (5A Harlingen South 2007-2008 2 year record 14-9 Was HC at 2A Crane 7 year record 74-15 1996-2002).
