MaxPreps All-America Juniors Team Includes Three Texans

Three Texans were named to the MaxPreps Juniors All-American team. One made the 1st team while the other two were on the 2nd team.

1st Team:

Herschel Sims, RB, 5-8, 185, Abilene (Texas)
He rushed for 2,346 yards and 35 scores on 252 carries to lead the Eagles to their first state title since 1956.

2nd Team:

Michael Brewer, QB, 6-0, 170, Lake Travis (Austin, Texas)
He led Lake Travis to their 3rd consecutive state title. Brewer was 256 of 367 for 4,450 yards and 43 touchdowns, and was 2nd Team All-State

KC Nlemchi, RB, 6-1, 213, Cinco Ranch (Katy, Texas)
Nlemchi carried the ball 284 times for 2,388 yards and 28 touchdowns and had over 300 yards receiving. He was a 5A first team all-state selection.
