Coaching Changes — Quinlan Ford

Virgil Crow has been named as the new athletic director and head football coach for the Quinlan Ford Panthers. Crow will replace Derek Alford who led Quinlan Ford to a 16-35 record over the last 5 seasons.
Coach Crow has been a coordinator or assistant coach at Celina, Sulphur Springs and Cumby. He was the head coach at Scurry-Rosser from 2002-2006 where he had a 26-26 record.
It will be tough for Crow to turn around the Panthers 6 consecutive non-winning seasons. They will be part of district 14-3A which includes Canton, Van and Wills Point. Quinlan Ford has only had 10 winning seasons in its 53 year histoy.
