Texas Was Well Represented In the Super Bowl

Texas was once again the leader in the # of participants in the Super Bowl that was played last Sunday by the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.
Sixteen (16) players called Texas home during their high school careers. This includes two Garland Naaman Forest and two Southlake Carroll greats. The list is highlighted by Super Bowl MVP Saints quarterback Drew Brees who led Austin Westlake to a state championship in 1996 and was named the Texas Class 5A MVP.
