Coaching Changes — Brownsville Veterans Memorial

Brownsville Veterans Memorial has hired Mark Guess to be their first ever athletic coordinator and head coach. The new school opens next year with freshmen and sophomores.

Memorial will play a junior varsity schedule for the next two years and is expected to become a 5A school in 2012.

Guess comes over after spending the last nine seasons at Corpus Christi West Oso. He had an overall record of 48-48 during his time with the bears.
