Coaching Changes — Clifton
-
Updated: April 25, 2010
Clifton has hired former Jacksboro head coach Brandon Brown to be their next head coach. Brown will replace former Baylor quarterback Shawn Bell who went to Magnolia West. Bell led the Cubs for only one season where they finished up at 3-7.
Brown was at Jacksboro for the last three seasons. He led the Tigers to a 5-6 finish last season and was 15-17 overall. Coach Brown will be Cliftons third coach in as many years.
The Cubs will be a member of District 4-2A Division I along with Breckenridge, Comanche, Dublin, Eastland, Godley and Whitney. They have not had a playoff appearance or winning record since 2005.
