Coaching Changes — Round Rock Cedar Ridge
-
Updated: April 4, 2010
Round Rock Cedar Ridge has hired Todd Ford to be their first head coach. Cedar Ridge opens in the Fall of 2010 but will not play a varsity schedule until the fall of 2012.
Ford has spent the last three seasons as the offensive coordinator at the University of North Texas and he was the offensive coordinator for three state championship teams at Southlake Carroll before that. This will be his first head coaching job.
The Cedar Ridge Raiders are expected to be a Class 5A school when it does start playing varsity football. They will be getting students from powerhouse Stony Point for future years.
