Coaching Changes — Saginaw
-
Updated: April 16, 2010
Saginaw has promoted offensive coordinator Mike Peters to be their next head coach tp replace Chris Wilde.
Wilde is leaving to take a non-coaching job. He had an overall 19-22 record while coaching the Rough Riders and has an 72-49 all-time record. He has been the only coach they have had since the schools first varsity season in 2006.
Coach Peters will be the head coach for the first time in his career.
Saginaw made the playoffs for the first time in school history last season but still had a losing season at 4-7. They will be moving up to 5A beginning this year. They will be a member of District 7-5A along with Coppell, Denton Guyer, Keller, Keller Central, Keller Fossil Ridge, Justin Northwest and Southlake Carroll. They will have a very tough time competing in this district so coach Peters will have a tough road ahead of him.
