Coaching Changes — Brownfield

Brownfield has hired Steve Taylor as their next athletic director and head coach. Taylor will replace Kevin Pittman who was reassigned after an 0-10 finish last year.
Pittman was 26-48 overall during his seven seasons with the Cubs.
Taylor led the Midland Greenwood to a 36-22 record with four playoff appearances during his five seasons there. He has an overall head coaching record of 128-50-1 with other stops at Denver City and Ozona.
Brownfield will play in District 2-3A with Lamesa, Levelland, Lubbock Cooper, Lubbock Estacado and Shallowater. They currently Only have one winning season (2007) in the last seven years.
