Coaching Changes — El Paso Riverside

El Paso Riverside has promoted defensive coordinator Eric Frontz to be their next head coach and athletic coordinator. He will succeed J.J. Calderon who was hired as the head coach and athletic coordinator at El Paso Eastlake.
Calderon left after three seasons with the Rangers. His overall record during that time was 16-18.
Frontz has 13 years of coaching experience. He started off coaching middle school and then moved on to El Paso (2 years), El Paso Andress (4 years) and then to Riverside in 2007. He has been the defensive coordinator the past three seasons.
Riverside is a member of District 2-4A along with Canutillo, Clint Horizon, El Paso Del Valle, El Paso Parkland, El Paso Ysleta and San Elizario.
