Coaching Changes — Houston King

Houston King has hired Lydell Wilson to be their next head coach and campus coordinator. Wilson replaces longtime Panther head coach Mike Malkowski who stepped down after 13 years to take an administration post.

Malkowski has spent the last thirteen years as the head coach at King going 74-64 overall during that time. Wilson comes over from Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated after being the had coach for the last eight seasons going 50-40.

The Panthers are part of District 19-4A along with Baytown Goose Creek Memorial, Baytown Lee, Crosby, Dayton, Galena Park, Houston North Forest and Mont Belvieu Barbers Hill. They have gone 19-21 over the last 4 years.
