Coaching Changes — Manor

Manor has hired Sadd Jackson to be their next Head Coach and Athletic Coordinator. He will take over for Eric Carter who was reassigned before the end of last season.

Carter was 4-15 during his two seasons with the Mustangs. Even with that record, they made the playoffs both seasons he was there.

Jackson comes to Manor from Austin LBJ High School. He has spent the past two years as the Defensive Coordinator for the Jaguars. He will be the Mustangs 3rd head coach in the last 4 seasons. Coach Jackson is a former Manor Mustang player. His coaching career began at TCU where he was an assistant from 1994-1996. After that he had assistant coaching jobs at Valdosta State University, Austin Reagan and Lancaster. This will be Jacksons first head coaching job.

Manor will be part of District 16-4A along with Bastrop, Bryan Rudder, Elgin, Hutto, Pflugerville Connally and Pflugerville Hendrickson. They have had only one winning season over the last six years (2007).
