-
Updated: May 2, 2010
Quanah's head coach James McDaniel has retired after eleven seasons with the Indians. To replace him, they have hired Jason Sims who was a Wichita Falls Assistant.
McDaniel led the Indians to a 79-46 record during his 11 seasons making the playoffs in eight of those years.
Sims was the linebackers coach and special teams coordinator last year for Wichita Falls. Before that, he was the defensive coordinator at Archer City for six years. He has also coached at Wichita Falls City View.
Quanah is a member of a 4 team District 2-1A Division I along with Clarendon, Lockney and Panhandle. The Indians are on a 2 year losing streak.
