Skidmore Tynan has hired Dan Garza to replace Adam Arroyo as their next athletic director and head coach. Arroyo resigns after leading the Bobcats to a 4-6 record with one district win in 2009.
Coach Arroyo had a career record of 44-23 during his six seasons at Tynan. He leaves as the all-time winningest coach in Tynan history. Garza has recently been the Junior High principal for the last four years.
Tynan will be a member of District 16-2A Division II for the next two seasons along with Banquete, Freer, Hebbronville, Kingsville Academy, Premont, Refugio and Riviera Kaufer. They are coming off of back to back 4-6 seasons after going 8 consecutive years without having a losing season.
