Coaching Changes — Waskom

Whitney Keeling has been hired as the next head coach and athletic director at Waskom. Keeling is replacing Brian Lowe who is leaving after going 0-10 in his only season with the Wildcats.

Keeling was an assistant coach at 3A Texarkana Pleasant Grove. He has also has assistant coaching jobs at Kilgore and Jacksonville. This is Keeling's first head coaching job.

The Wildcats are currently on a 4 year losing streak and are moving up a level to class 2A. They will be a member of District 8-2A Division II for the next two seasons along with Elysian Fields, Harleton, Hughes Springs, Linden-Kildare and Ore City.
