Colleyville Heritage will be the host of this SQT. Here are the pools, players to watch and of course our predictions.
Pool A: Colleyville Heritage, Midlothian, Keller, South Grand Prarie
Keller is the only team to not participate in an SQT so far this year. The other three played in the Arlington Bowie SQT last week. Colleyville Heritage is the host and the only team to make the state championships last year. South Grand Prarie will be led by WR Candon Myles (25-400 2 TDs), LB Shawn Blackwell, LB David Chandler and LB Leslie Evans. Midlothian will feature WR Derek Agbaroji and superstar DB Eric Agbaroji 40 tackles 1 INT 13 BR.

Pool B: Keller Central, North Richland Hills Birdville, Dallas Jesuit, Irving Nimitz
This will be the first SQT this year for all of these teams. Birdville and Keller Central both made the state championships last year. Irving Nimitz did not play in any SQT's last year while Dallas Jesuit went 2-5 in SQT play last year. Irving Nimitz will be led by superstar QB J.J. Gaines 647 yards 3 TDs rushing 1483 yards and 8 TDs passing along with WR Darrell Dozier and DB Glenn McQuinney.

Pool C: Tyler Lee, Arlington Martin, Irving MacArthur, Mansfield Summit
Arlington Martin and ansfield Summitt both played in the Arlington Bowie SQT last week. Martin will bring a ton of talent with them like QB Russell Bellomy (438 yards 6 TDS rushing 1546 yards 13 TDs passing), RB Danzel Williams (1221 yards rushing 22 TDs 21-255 2 TDs Rec. Oklahoma committ), WR Wesley Hawthorne (28-285 3 TDs Rec.), LB Deryck Gildon (50 tackles 1 sack COMMITTED to TCU), DB Steven Caldwell, DB Ryan Pollard and DB Devonta Burns (102 tackles 2 INTs COMMITTED to Texas A&M)). Summitt who went 0-6 in SQT play last season will have RB Lewis Washington. This will be the first SQT's for Tyler Lee and Irving MacArthur this year. Lee made the state championships last year and will feature WR Dennis Edwards, WR Marquise Mosley and DB Cortland Browning (commmitted to Missouri). Irving MacArthur went 6-4 in SQT play last year will be led by QB Jason Frimpong 371 yards 4 TDs rushing 654 yards 7 TDs passing, WR Johnny Haynes 561 rushing 295 receiving and DB Jalen Brown 36 tackles 1 INT 13 BR.

Pool D: Arlington, Abilene, Denton Guyer, Southlake Carroll
This is a WOW pool. All four of these teams made it to the state championships last year. Denton Guyer has already qualified for state but will feature one of the best QB's in the state with J.W. Walsh. Arlington played in Arlington Bowies SQT last week and will feature WR Miles Onyegbule (52-616 9 TDs Texas Commitment) and LB Laderice Sanders TCU committ. Southlake Carroll will show off their new transfer from Oklahoma QB Daxx Garman (74% completion 2311 yards 24 TDs in only 8 games). Abilene may be the fastest team with superstars QB Ronnell Sims 1045 yards 14 TDs rushing 1623 yards 17 TDs passing, RB Herschel Sims 2260 yards 32 TDS rushing 23-371 4 TDs receiving Oklahoma State committ and WR Darius Joseph. This pool will be a fun one to watch.
