Cypress Falls will be the host of this SQT. Here are the pools, players to watch and of course our predictions. Jay Darneal who has coached a 7-on-7 team 7 consecutive years to the state tournament, been a coach, officiated, written, broadcasted, and played football will pick with us!!
Pool A: Cypress Falls, Cypress Ranch, Kingwood Park, Klein Forest
Cypress Falls has already qualified for the state tournament. Kingwood Park will be playing in their first SQT of the year and will rely on QB Zach Vorenkamp and ATH Ragan Robichaux 46 tackles. Klein Forest has been in two SQT's this year and has come close but have not made it out of pool play. They will feature QB JR Matt Davis 1427 yards 22 TDS rushing 1393 yards 13 TDs passing, TE Kristian Bryant and LB D.J. Simon. Cypress Ranch has a 3-3 record in SQT play this year.

Pool B: Cypress Creek, Houston Memorial, Jersey Village, Cypress Springs
Cypress Creek has a 4-5 SQT record this year and rely on the talents of QB Chuckie Keeton 1096 yards 14 TDs rushing 1366 yards 10 TDs passing, RB Jermichael Selders 1533 yards 23 TDs rushing and RB Cameron Gary. Houston Memorial went 0-3 in their only SQT this year and will feature TE Tony Abisi and LB Sam Gillaspie. Jersey Village has gone 0-3 while Cypress Springs has a 1-2 record in SQT play.

Pool C: Langham Creek, Rosenberg Terry, Tomball, Cypress Fairbanks
Cypress Fairbanks has already qualified for the state tournament. Langham Creek has a 2-6 SQT record that includes a 40-41 double overtime loss to Cypress Fairbanks at the Cypress Creek SQT. Rosenberg Terry has gone 4-2 in SQT play this year including a 0-20 loss to Cypress Fairbanks. Tomball has a 2-4 SQT record.

Pool D: Cypress Woods, The Woodlands, Spring, Cypress Lakes
The Woodlands has already qualified for the state tournament. Spring has gone 1-2 in SQT play this year includng a 19-32 loss to The Woodlands. Cypress Woods has a 3-3 SQT record and will be led by WR Clesmie Burden and WR Patrick Gant. Cypress Lakes went 1-2 in their only SQT of the year.
