Old Head Coach: Jeff Lester -- Resigned after going 4-16 in two seasons with the Owls.
New Head Coach: Robbie Tindol -- Comes over from Early where he resigned ealier in the year. He went 44-38 during his 7 seasons with the Longhorns. He helped them end their 47 year playoff drought in 2005 when he led them to the Class 2A Division I state semifinals. He had four consecutive playoff appearances from 2005-2008, three consecutive district championships from 2005-2007 and two state semifinal appearances in 2005 and 2007. Tindol was also the head coach at Roscoe from 1995-1997 and had an overall 26-9 record and was the Class 1A Runner Up in 1995. He has also been an assistant coach at Stephenville, Hamlin, Midland Lee and Andrews.
Team News: The Owls have had 1 winning season in last 6 years and finished 1-9 last season. They will be moved down to Class 1A next year for the first time since 1979.
