Notes:
The Texans returned back to their winning ways with a very young team in 2009. Look for Smith and Blakemore to lead the offense again and they are both only Juniors. Expect the Texans to be even better in 2010 and to start the season off better (they lost 3 of their first 4 games last season). They should finish 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season and make a strong run into the playoffs. They should make it to at least the Division II quarterfinals unless they meet up with Cuero again in the
2nd round. They have met the Gobblers 3 times in the playoffs since 2004 and hava a 1-2 record against them. The Texans play two very strong teams in pre-district. They open the year up @ Cuero and then take on Sealy in their 5th game.
