District 1-1A DI : Canadian looks to be ready to play in their 4th consecutive championship game. West Texas will be trying to prove that they belong. Stratford and Sunray are two teams that West Texas will be trying to knock off.
Canadian leads the series 12-4 since 1994.
West Texas has won both playoff games, 36-20 (1988 Class 2A Bi-District) and 21-13 (1994 Class 2A Bi-District)

District 3-1A DII : This district looks to be between these 2 teams and Farwell. Bovina lost to Farwell last week

District 8-1A DI : These two are the favorites in the district but Cayuga also is in here and they are on a 20 game winning streak.

#6 DII Archer City (6-1) at #18 DII Windthorst (5-1)
District 8-1A DII : These two teams and Munday are the teams to beat in this district
#10 DI Garrison (6-0) at #7 Alto (5-1)
District 10-1A DI : This is probably for the district title...Shelbyville may put up a fight. Garrison only won by 1 over Timpson last week

#28 DII San Saba (2-4) at #5 DII Sonora (6-0)
District 13-2A DII : Sonora should win this district with ease. San Saba has struggled but they may still be the 2nd best team in the district....they will compete with Ozona, Harper and Junction for those 2 other playoff spots
#6 DI Littlefield (5-1) at #11 DI Bushland (4-2)
District 1-2A DI : One of the toughest districts in the state...This will probably come down to Littlefield (3-0), Bushland (3-0) and Muleshoe (2-1, lost to Bushland). Lubbock Roosevelt is the other player but they are already 1-2 with losses to Muleshoe and Littlefield.
#6 DII West Rusk (5-1) at #30 DII Frankston (3-3)
District 9-2A DII : Arp was the pre-season favorite but they have gone 1-5 including a loss to Frankston last week. West Rusk now looks to be the top team. Joaquin and Union Grove will also be teams to beat
#7 DI Edna (6-0) at #12 DI Industrial (5-1)
District 14-2A DI : Very tough district here with Edna (3-0), Industrial (2-0), Rice Consolidated (3-0) and Hempstead (1-1). Looks like some great matchups on the horizon.

#16 DII Franklin (6-1) at #8 DII Lexington (5-1)
District 12-2A DII : This is a tough district...these 2 along with Thorndale and Rogers have gone 25-2 and one of those losses was Franklin to Rogers.
#9 Crawford DII (6-0) at #13 DII Hico (6-1)
District 4-2A DII : This should be for the district title with both teams coming in undefeated in district play. The last playoff spot will be a tossup

#1 Brownwood (7-0) at Snyder (5-1)
District 5-3A : Tough 5 team district with Abilene Wylie, Big Spring and Sweetwater....this should be for the district title. Nobody wants to play Brownwood right now...they look like a championship favorite

#7 Gilmer (4-2) at #19 Carthage (4-2)
District 16-3A: The matchup everyone has been waiting for all year. The defending 3A Champions square off. Gilmer is bringing in a 45 game district winning streak. This is another great district with Pittsburg, Henderson, Gladewater and Longview Spring Hill as members also.
Gilmer leads the series 3-1 since 1998.

District 30-3A : This will be a key game for the district championship but Sinton should take it. Mathis is another tough one here

District 23-3A : This could be for the district title...we would be surprised if Caldwell lost this one though. They have a great defense. Other key schools in the district are Navasota and La Grange.

District 16-3A: This is the 2nd game to watch this week.

District 17-3A : This is a 5 team district it should come down to these 2 and Athens. Chapel Hill has played well this year

#2 Austin Lake Travis at #25 Cedar Park Vista Ridge (6-1)
District 25-4A : The 2 Cedar Park schools look to challenge the king of the hill that is Austin Lake Travis. Vista Ridge lost by 1 to Cedar Park 2 weeks ago.

#18 Montgomery (6-0) at #3 Brenham (6-0)
District 17-4A : By far the 2 best teams in the district. Can Montgomerys running attack knock off last years state runner up?

District 28-4A: Tivy looks to be one of 4A's best. Valley needs a win after starting off 0-2 in district play. Boerne Champion (3-0) and Harlandale (2-0) look good so far.

#27 Manvel (5-1) at #6 Friendswood (7-0)
District 24-4A : This is a very competitive district....there is another game to watch also other than this one. Friendswood looks to be the top horse in this district at 3-0. Manvel is 1-1 with a loss to La Marque.

#72 Richardson Pearce (3-3) at #7 Highland Park (6-0)
District 10-4A : This is a pretty tough district...Highland Park is the only undefeated (3-0) district team left. Schools with 1 loss along with Pearce (2-1) are McKinney (2-1) and McKinney North (2-1, beat Pearce). Another contender is Rockwall-Heath (1-2).

District 14-4A : The last 2 undefeated district teams both coming in at 3-0. Other contenders are Jacksonville (2-1, lost to Whitehouse) and Marshall (2-1, lost to Jacksonville)
#43 Port Lavaca Calhoun (3-3) at #10 Gregory-Portland (6-0)
District 30-4A : Calhoun comes in after getting beat bad by Victoria East last week. Gregory-Portland and East look to be the best so far

District 25-4A : The 2nd game to watch in this district. Cedar Park can take control with a win after beating Vista Ridge 2 weeks ago.
#13 Smithson Valley (5-1) at #15 San Antonio Alamo Heights (6-1)
District 27-4A : This should be for the district championship...both are undefeated in district play. Buda Hays (2-1) and Schertz Clemens (1-1) are the other solid teams here.
#24 La Marque (5-1) at #64 Texas City (4-2)
District 24-4A : This is the 2nd game to watch in this district. La Marque is getting people to think of previous championship years. This one "Battle by the Bay" is always a classic. La Marque is 2-1 with a loss to Friendswood and Texas City is 1-1 with a loss to Pearland Dawson.

District 7-5A : Coppell could take control with a win as they beat the other contender Denton Guyer last week. Keller Central (2-1) is the leader right now for that 4th playoff spot.

District 8-5A : Allen is the only undeated in district team left while West has lost all 3 of there district games. Another loss may knock them out of the playoffs. Flower Mound Marcus (2-1), Flower Mound (2-1), Lewisville Hebron (2-1) and Plano (1-2) are the others here.

District 21-5A : This should be for the district championship. La Porte is another player here.

District 3-5A : Permian lost badly to Midland last week while Cooper won in dramatic fashion over Midland Lee. This is 1 of 2 games to watch this week in this district

#60 Mesquite Horn (4-2) at #11 Longview (3-3)
District 11-5A : DeSoto and Longview are the best in this district and they will tangle on the final week.

District 3-5A : Lee lost a wild one last week while Abilene dominated Odessa. This should be a high scoring one

District 13-5A : The 2 undefeated district teams collide. The winner will probably be the district champion in this very competitive district. Other key teams here are Spring DeKaney (2-1, loss to Collins) and Tomball (2-1, loss to Collins). Klein Oak (1-2, losses to Collins and DeKaney) is another tough one here.

District 26-5A : This is a great district. Reagan is 2-0 while MacArthur is 2-1 with their loss to Roosevelt in OT. Other key teams here are Churchill (1-2, losses to Reagan and MacArthur), Madison (2-0, win over Roosevelt) and Roosevelt (2-1, win over MacArthur and loss to Madison)

District 25-5A : It looks like the Converse schools and these two in the playoffs.

#64 Clear Creek (5-1) at #23 Pearland (6-0)
District 24-5A: Clear Creek comes in at 2-1 with a loss to Dickinson and Pearland is the only undefeated district team at 3-0. Clear Springs and Dickinson both are 2-1 and each have lost to Pearland so if Pearland wins this one then they have beaten the best 24-5A has to offer.
