Rice Consolidated was able to hold off the Industrial Cobras in double overtime and LSG was there!! Rice was able to win the game 28-21 when the Cobras came up just a few yards short on a 4th down scramble in the 2nd OT. It looked like Industrial had won the game in regulation when everyone but the official thought that a last second FG was good. In the first OT Industrial scored first making it 21-14. Rice then ran into trouble on their possession facing a 4th and long. Their pass fell incomplete but the Cobras were called for pass interference. The Raiders ran 3 more plays before facing yet another 4th down and long. A pass into the end zone was incomplete BUT there was another pass interference penalty against the Cobras. Rice was then able to score and tie it up at 21. The Raiders scored a TD in the 2nd OT to make it 28-21. The Cobras then came up short on their 4th down play to end the game.
