How did LSG do on our 2010 Predictions?

Overall, it looks like we did very well. Sure, there were some surprises that nobody saw coming - but that happens every year. As usual, we blew away the AP, but that isn't hard to do. Thanks for another great season and for all the excellent feedback. It is that 'back and forth' we get from our fellow Texas high school football fans that really clue us in to some of the kids and programs we are unable to see in person each year.

Our Pre-Season #1 Falls City beat Windthorst 32-7 for their first ever championship

Our Pre-Season #1 Goldthwaite fell to our Pre-Season #3 Mart in the championship game 28-7 for Mart's 5th overall Championship Goldthwaite beat Mart 29-23 during the regular season
2A DII
Our Pre-Season #1 Refugio fell to our Pre-Season #7 Lexington in theSemifinals. Lexington then lost to our Pre-Season #6 Idalou in the championship game 20-3. It was Idalou's 1st State Championship
2A DI
Our Pre-Season #1 Daingerfield defeated Cameron Yoe 33-27 to win their 2nd consecutive championship
3A DII
Our Pre-Season #1 Carthage defeated Coldspring-Oakhurst 47-22 to win their 3rd consecutive 3A Championship
3A DI
Our Pre-Season #31 Henderson surprised everyone in the state (except for the Henderson fans posting on our facebook before the game) by defeating Tyler Chapel Hill 28-21 for their first ever championship
4A DII
Our Pre-Season #2 (behind the DI Champion) Aledo defeated La Marque 69-34 to win their 2nd consecutive championship
4A DI
Our Pre-Season #1 Austin Lake Travis defeated our #7 Pre-Season Denton Ryan 27-7 win their 4th consecutive state championship
5A DII
Our Pre-Season #1 Abilene lost to our pre-season #20 Southlake Carroll (7th ranked Division II team) in the Quarterfinals. Southlake then lost in the next round to our Pre-Season #18 (5th ranked Division II team) Denton Guyer who in turn lost to our Pre-Season #17 (4th ranked Division II team) Cibolo Steele in the championship game 24-21. It was Steele's first ever championship. Both schools were 4A last season and both began playing varsity ball in 2006.
5A DI
Our Pre-Season #2 (top ranked Division I team) Euless Trinity lost to cinderella Pearland 28-24. It was Pearland's first ever championship.
