2011 Coaching Change -- Jasper Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Mike Bickham -- Resigned after two years with the Bulldogs going 10-11. He was the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach for 4A Tyler John Tyler before taking over at Jasper. He has been the Head Coach at 1A Tenaha 2001-2002 (20-6), 2A Brookshire Royal 2003-2004 (17-9) and 3A Carthage 2005-2006 (17-9). Bickman has an overall record of 64-35. He was also an assistant coach at Galena Park North Shore, La Grange, Plano East, and Palestine. His dad is Ronnie Bickham who won two state championships at Chilton and Omaha Paul Pewitt and won 236 all-time games.
New Head Coach: Garrett Morgan -- Was the defensive coordinator and assistant athletic director at Carthage for the past four seasons. During that time his teams went 53-7 and won three consecutive state championships. He was also an assistant at Texas High.
Team News: The Bulldogs have gone 23-30 over the last 5 seasons.
