2011 Coaching Change: Houston Madison Marlins
Old Head Coach: Ray Seals -- Retiring after 46 years of coaching. Coach Seals started his career in 1972 as an assistant at Sam Houston. He had other assistant jobs at Houston Sterling, Houston Milby and Houston Madison. His first head coaching job was at Houston Milbey in 1983. He then took over the head coaching job at Houston Madison in 1988 where he has been up until now. He has won the HISD Coach of the Year 10 times, the 2008 NFL High School Coach of the Year and the inaugural Don Shula NFL Coach of the Year earlier in the year. His record at Madison ended at 182-81-1 and his all-time record is 191-101-2. That is good enough for #90 on the all-time coaching wins list.
New Head Coach: No replacement found yet
Team News: The Marlins are on a 7 year winning streak (47-28).
